This section of the site is about different methods of making money. The aim is to give you ideas and talk briefly about their plus and minus points.
1) Online Surveys
Businesses will pay good money for people to give their opinions on products. You can get rewarded in either cash or products that you will be sent to test. Click above to get more details.
2) Mystery Shopping
Many men would pay money not to have to go shopping. Mystery shoppers, however, get paid to do it.
3) Gambling
Gambling is a method which can actually work. However in order to make good money at it you need to put a lot of work in. Being good with numbers helps too. Get all the information you need here.
4) Police ID parades
Taking part in ID parades is easy money, you just have to stand there after all, but the work is irregular and may depend on your appearance. Rates vary but you can look at £5-£10 an hour in England. Ask at your local police station for more information.
5) Film Extra
Directors need people of all shapes and sizes to appear on their films. You might not get to meet the stars, but you can earn a decent amount per day. Check UK Screen for UK opportunities, or do a Google search.
6) Ebay Trading
On the 'World's Online Marketplace' you can find someone who will buy anything you want to sell. You can make good money here but don't expect to make a fortune selling your old junk unless you have something highly collectable or rare.
7) Pose as a life model
You don't have to be beautiful to be a model, but you do have to sit still for quite a while. Good models are always in demand and get decent pay. Contact your local art colleges and adult entertainment centres for more information.
8) Internet researcher
You may have grown up on the internet but many people haven't and are lost when trying to extract information from it. If you're skilled you can can hire yourself out as a researcher for people like lawyers and writers and make a good living working from home.
9) Daily-payday.com
A free to sign up to site which can pay you good money. Also have many free e-books on various marketing subjects.
10) Site Flipping
Site flipping doesn't require as much capital and expertise as many people believe. Like property flipping you buy one that needs a bit of TLC. Do it up, then sell it on for a profit.
11) Actual Work
There are several work-from home jobs on a pay per hour basis but the better paid ones are probably contract jobs. Some examples of both: Copywriting; proofreading of web content/ebooks/newsletters etc.(elance, guru, rentacoder, graphicdesign, more).
12) Start a Directory
Webmasters pay good money to be listed in your directory. The better your directory the more you can demand. Niche, hand compiled directories are a million times better than the automated free for alls, and both companies and users know that. Use it to your advantage.
13) Get stuff for free
The internet allows access to huge quantities of free stuff. For example: cricket bats are made of Willow. However, there cannot be any knots in the wood used in the bat so a large amount of wood is thrown out. Not a few bin bags full but 70 tons. Per week. They listed it on the eastex.org.uk site. Find a company that sells bark based mulch for gardens. Ask how much they are paying for their wood and offer them 70 tons of fine willow a week at 50% of their current costs provided they pick it up themselves. Or contact manufacturers of chipboard, cat litter, or anything else similar. Also worth checking is freecycle.org and other similar sites.
14) Do something silly
The Million Dollar Homepage made £1 million by selling worthless pixels. One Red Paperclip earned it's owner a house in exchange for a paper-clip. They made money by building up a media storm around themselves for being so quirky, which enticed people to give away money far in excess of the value of what was being sold. Yes, people are stupid. There are also many stupid millionaires.
